You will find your homepage (or as it is commonly known on CCN "Profile") already started for you. Type 'go files' (without the quotes) and then select 'public_html'. That takes you to your WWW readable files. This is the only parent directory where world-readable files are located. You will see a file in your public_html directory called 'Profile.html'. Select that one. Type 'e' to edit it. Some suggestions for HTML coding on your page to make it look good are: (All html coding is done within angle brackets <>)

which stands for paragraph. You use this when you wish to start a new paragraph of text. The piece of text following a

will begin 2 lines down from what you typed previously to it.
this stands for line break. It moves the text following that 1 line down. To put a link in any part of your page, the syntax is like this: (Here are a few examples) Telnet to CCN Note the quotes around the telnet command. Altavista Search Engine Note as well how the link is named. All links begin Name of URL Replace "URL" of course, with an actual URL enclosed within quotation marks.
