To copy one file into another, press e to edit the new file. Now while viewing the empty, press ^r (press r while holding down the Control key) to read the first file into the second one. You will be prompted for the name of the first file. Make sure that both files are in the same directory before doing this otherwise you will have to enter the correct directory location as well as filename. Be sure you keep the same file extensions otherwise the second file won't be exact. For example: you can read 'lynx_bookmarks.html' --> 'bookmarks.html' This files will look the same when you save them. If you don't use the .html extension but use .txt, the file will look jumbled. Internet browsers expect files with certain extensions to behave a certain way and if you change that extension, the browser no longer knows how to display it properly. To add one item from one file to another, you would have to retype the link in the new file. There is no easy way to copy just one link unless you are bookmarking the link.
