Occasionally, a control code error in a email sent from another provider will cause all of the following email arriving at your account to append themselves into the faulty email. This is called concatenation and the emails can be separated and read using the following method. 1. Highlight the email and 'e'xport it to your files and give it a name like 'email1'. (without the quotes) 2. Exit PINE and go to your files directory (go files). Once there, edit the 'email' file via PICO and take out any extraneous junk you don't need and save the rest under a different name like 'email2'. 3. Delete the first file ('email1') and enter the second file ('email2'). You should be able to read the messages fine. Deleting the faulty email while in PINE will get rid of the problem. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
