- Summit Ceilidh 
The Province of Nova Scotia welcomes you to the Summit Ceilidh from 6:00 
to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17 on the Garrison Grounds. Featuring Roch 
Voisine and The Rankin Family, the free concert will include some of 
Atlantic Canada's top musicians. 
- Children's Entertainment
Showcase Halifax has planned a Kids' Festival in the Grand Parade from 
11:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17. If you canŐt come down for 
this special event, check the schedule. You'll find lots of other 
children's activities throughout the weekend.
-  Displays describing the work of local Christian 
ministries available for viewing by the public in St. Paul's Church on 
the Grand Parade.  (9:00 am - 5:00 pm on June 17) 
- The Party is Just Beginning
Showcase Halifax has planned a dance party in the Grand Parade on 
Saturday night after the Summit Ceilidh. You won't be able to resist the 
music of The Floorboards, Frank MacKay and Uisce Beatha. Check the 
schedule for more information.
- 9:00 am - 5:00 pm The 'P7' Marketplace is designed to 
meet one of the P7 objectives:
 "To directly support those who provide fair, equitable and
environmentally-sustainable products and services."  (When we say 'fair', 
we mean fair to people -- men AND women! -- fair to the
environment, and fair to communities.)
- Dr. David Suzuki, host of  presents 
"Setting the Real Bottom Line"
