The Revision Control System (RCS)
The RCS is invoked each and every time a document in the public area
of the freenet is checked out for editing. The RCS maintains a record of
the changes of each version of a particular document; noting date, time,
editor and information altered. The RCS will only allow a new version of a
document to be checked in, in a certain way. Any deviation to its
routine will result in a read-only document. The older version will
still exist alongside the new version.
